Ground School Information
In addition to our flight training, Wadsworth Aviation also offers quality ground instruction as well. Wadsworth Aviation's formal ground school consists of one 3-hour class per week, for an average of 15 weeks.
A certified ground instructor will teach you basic aerodynamics, navigation, mechanics of the aircraft, and the rulse and regulations that govern your flight. This class will help you prepare for the written test you will be required to pass to in order to become a pilot.

The 15 week ground course costs a total of $120, plus books. The ground school books cost an average of $100-$160. Wadsworth Aviation stocks all of the required books and other materials.
